Meet Heather Thomson, CPA
As someone who puts 110% of herself into everything she pursues, Heather's level of experience and drive to positively impact business owners' lives just could not be contained into a typical 9-5 job. It is important to her that she is able to see the positive impact her work makes in people's lives.
The community and network she has cultivated over the past 22 years has culminated into her starting her own practice, allowing her to combine her love of both helping people and working in the world of finance. She is ready to bring her passion for the work and help you and your organization strategically move into the financial future!
Service & Community
Heather's professional experience began in service to our country in the United States Navy, managing procurement and logistical resources.
In service to others, she has accumulated 25+ years
of experience in a variety of financial and risk management leadership positions in both the private and public sectors.
Experience
During her career, she has obtained executive financial leadership experience by providing risk management services to public agencies in California and strategic business growth opportunities for private companies.
Heather started her journey in the AP department of an international oil company, then Controller for multiple non-profits, and then ascended the executive leadership ladder after obtaining her CPA license.

Heather has worked as Director of FP&A, as well as the CFO for several companies, both private and public entity JPAs.

Outside of crunching numbers and balancing budgets, Heather is an avid reader who loves to travel, spend time in the great outdoors, and relax with her family and close friends.
She also enjoys sharing the latest technology tools with her clients and through our new remote culture, there are no geographic boundaries containing her excitement or creativity. For Heather, she believes that variety is the spice of life!
